Nina is a film curator whose curatorial interests reside in the power of films to inspire change within our society. She believes independent filmmaking is vital to galvanize communal discourse and is committed to curating equitable and inclusive programs for all. She has an intuitive thirst for daring filmmaking detached from anything mainstream and conventional, a filmmaking that embraces fearless artistic crossover works that move forward the visual art and the art of cinematic language. She supports the type of free cinema open to continuous discovery, exploring the strong correlation between visual representation and human subjectivity. Her programming style is unapologetically political and personal, often prioritizing vulnerability, joy, and resistance in underrepresented stories. She represents a NEW GENERATION of curators prioritizing inclusion, risk-taking, and dialogue.
Rising Reputation: Especially loved in Southern Europe and queer circles for making independent cinema feel personal, political, and joyful gaining attention as a model for next-generation curatorship.
